Associated with protection, security and refuge, Haumaru is a Te Reo Māori word meaning to shelter; to provide a caring and safe haven that encapsulates our commitment to all our tenants. Delivering affordable rental housing specifically for older people, Haumaru Housing Limited Partnership is a joint venture between Auckland Council and The Selwyn Foundation. Currently we manage over 1,400 units for older people with a housing need.
